With more than 10 years’ in engineering design, marketing and management experience working in fast moving Silicon Valley, Carol-Ann has applied her unique skillset to both small start-ups and large multinational corporations. She’s known for thinking on her feet, creative problem solving and effective communication to get the job done.

Carol-Ann started at Genome BC as the liaison with the Digital Supercluster, where she cultivated relationships with various academic, non-profit, and private sector entities to further eight strategic innovation projects. As one of the first members of Genome BC’s Data Science Team, she supported the formation of the Jurisdictional Health Data Working Group and such efforts as Genome BC’s Data Literacy Webinars. Now, as Genome BC’s Corporate Relations Manager, Carol-Ann provides strategic support for enhancing external relations and aligning Genome BC’s work with government priorities. Carol-Ann holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from UBC.
