Dr. Pascal Spothelfer, President and CEO of Genome BC is pleased to announce the following Board appointments:
Ms. Janet Grove is a Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP (Norton). She is highly sought after for her expertise and business approach to structuring and negotiating both merger and acquisition transactions and complex commercial relationships to develop, commercialize and acquire technology. Ms. Grove is currently the Canadian head of Norton’s life sciences and healthcare industry practice.
Dr. Kausar Samli is the Head of Global Services at Hyland Credentials. His technology commercialization experience spans industries including biotech, quantum computing, and blockchain. His scientific expertise includes cell-specific targeting, high-throughput screening, protein engineering, and computational chemistry. Dr. Samli attended Singularity University’s Global Solutions Program specializing in technology entrepreneurship and has cofounded startups.
The staff and Board at Genome BC wish to sincerely thank outgoing Board members, Dr. Paul Terry and Mr. Joe Garcia, for their diligent and measured counsel throughout their terms.
