Genome British Columbia is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Gill to its Board of Directors

Ron Gill, Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, was appointed to Genome BC’s Board of Directors.
Ron Gill is an Assurance Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He has over 13 years of experience in providing assurance and advisory services, predominantly to public companies listed in Canada and the US, across a wide range of industries, including mining, forestry, real estate and utilities. Mr. Gill earned both his Bachelor of Science degree and Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia and has been a Chartered Professional Accountant since 2012.

From precision healthcare to forestry and mining to fisheries and the food on our plates, we’re making great strides toward solving some of our most pressing problems in innovative and sustainable ways. For more than 20 years, Genome BC has generated over $1.27 billion of investment in more than 498 genomics research and innovation projects, including over 1,000 collaborations with partners across BC and internationally. The organization’s initiatives are improving the lives of people throughout BC by advancing health care in addition to addressing environmental and natural resource challenges.
In addition to scientific programming, Genome BC integrates genomics into society by supporting responsible research and innovation and fostering an understanding and appreciation of the life sciences among educators, students and the public.
