Dr. Ursula Neumann is skilled in data science, project management and partnership development, with experience spanning academic research and the biotechnology startup ecosystem. As a Research and Innovation Manager, she works collaboratively to implement Genome BC’s data science strategy through initiatives in research, data sharing and integration and data literacy.
Ursula believes that ethical AI and responsible data practices are essential considerations for advancing genomics in health and natural resource sectors. She holds a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of British Columbia and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
