Hodan is Genome BC’s Office Manager working within Societal Engagement. Her role is to keep the office running smoothly through administrative, financial and supervisory tasks. Hodan enjoys the many different learning opportunities in her role and believes no day is the same as the last.
A proud moment for Hodan was bringing awareness of Black-Canadian history at our staff meeting by sharing about the significance of Hogan’s Alley for Vancouver’s Black community and how the construction of the Georgia and Dunsmuir viaducts displaced this diverse immigrant enclave.
Hodan holds a Business Management Diploma in Human Resources from Bow Valley College.
