A.G. Klei is a senior communications strategist with 20+ years of experience leading integrated communications projects in the public, private, and development sectors. A.G. guides Genome BC’s communications team, focused on media relations, social media, and storytelling.

A.G. began his professional career as a news journalist in Toronto, enjoyed nine wonderful years helping the World Wildlife Fund and the United States Agency for International Development make a meaningful impact in the lives of millions of Malagasy people, and has also had the pleasure of serving as the national media spokesperson for the Ontario Ministry of Health, as a Public Affairs Advisor for Canada Health Infoway, and running his own communications consultancy.

He has degrees in business marketing and management from Bishop’s University and Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University. A.G. has lived on six of the planet’s seven continents. If anyone knows a good real estate agent for Antarctica, please let him know.
