Foresight Canada is a cleantech accelerator that is committed to developing and launching sector-specific training cohorts. Foresight has a strong history of strategy, ecosystem mapping,and partnership building that positions Canada as a global leader in cleantech innovation. Foresight and Genome BC share an interest in accelerating innovation, commercialization, and growth in BC’s bioeconomy. This shared interest is what led to the creation of the bioNEXT cleantech innovation accelerator. The bioNEXT program is designed to deliver training and advance business opportunities over a broader scope through industry driven innovation challenges, acceleration of ventures, foundry support, events and capital planning. bioNEXT we launched in 2021 with Genome BC as a founding partner. This year foresight trained a total of 29 entrepreneurs and supported 12 ventures.
