CDL-Vancouver is an objective-based mentorship program that supports participating ventures in accelerating their trajectory as they work to scale ambitious tech-based businesses. During their nine-month program, participating ventures attend five full day Sessions during which CDL mentors help set objectives for ventures to prioritize over the following eight weeks. At each Session, venture founders provide updates on their progress against the predetermined objectives and other relevant milestones and re-engage with the mentor community. The objectives-setting process is the core of the program, providing a proven process to help companies establish product-market fit, set the trajectory for scaling, and de-risk financing. Genome BC started to invest in CDL health stream in 2018.

This is the third investment in the health program as well as the inaugural investment into the CDL climate program. Through these streams, this program will continue to support and accelerate the commercialization of scalable high impact ventures in the health and climate space.
