Ainsley is an innovative leader who has driven teams, projects, and programs in the life sciences and medical technology industries for over 14 years while incorporating her marketing, communications, and process improvement expertise. At Genome BC, her main role is to devise, and implement the Research and Innovation Operations strategy with her team.
Prior to joining Genome BC, Ainsley led various strategic customer projects and programs with health authorities nationwide while advancing through project management roles at BD. Ainsley used her program management expertise to define, lead, and execute international, multi-business unit, programs aligned to strategic objectives through a complex stakeholder network. Utilizing LEAN principles, Ainsley also drove internal business process improvement initiatives, digitization efforts, and operational programs while co-leading the BD Global Project Management Community of Practice.
She also has her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), Integrated Marketing Strategy certification from the University of British Columbia, LEAN practitioner certification and the Graduate Diploma in Management (GDM) from Athabasca University. Ainsley is currently completing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2023 through Athabasca University.
