The Proteomics Centre (PC) is a multi-node platform that combines the research and service strengths of two outstanding proteomics facilities: the University of Victoria (UVic)-Genome BC Proteomics Centre directed by Christoph Borchers, and the University of British Columbia Proteomics (UBC) Core Facility directed by Dr. Leonard Foster. The Proteomics Centre provides an extensive range of cutting-edge proteomics services in quantitative proteomics, clinical proteomics, structural proteomics, functional proteomics and protein-protein interactions, and bioinformatics. The platform has a strong track record with respect to service provision; the team has been providing services for more than 10 years, and its services have been accessed on a fee-for-service or collaborative basis by clients across Canada and in more than 15 countries around the globe.
