BC researchers got a boost today with the announcement of a new $7.5 million fund to seek solutions to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, a global public health priority that currently affects up to 70,000 people in the province.
Seven new innovative research projects have been funded through the fifth round of Genome BC’s Strategic Opportunities Fund.
BC researchers have combined forces to develop a blood test that will identify patients at high risk for COPD lung attacks.
