All applications to GAPP led by an academic researcher based in British Columbia must be submitted through Genome BC.
Interested applicants should first contact Genome BC for advice to determine if a project concept is suitable for GAPP or other programs.
If eligible for GAPP, Genome BC works with applicants to define goals, articulate user benefits and prepare applications. Genome BC has established a process to work with teams to increase competitiveness at each stage of Genome Canada’s application process and provides support every step of the way.
- Stage 0: Exploration of project idea(s)
- Stage 1: Invitation to submit Expression of Interest (EOI)
- Stage 2: Pitch
- Stage 3: Supplementary proposal (if invited by Genome Canada)
