Familial Hypercholesterolemia Resources

To support physicians with integrating genetic testing at the point of care, Genome BC, as part of their Genomics Education for Health Professionals program, has co-created a learning opportunity with the BC FH Registry team to provide video and online resources. The goal is to equip the health care providers and patients who will receive these test results with information about:

• The benefits of genetic testing to support Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) diagnosis & treatment
• How to interpret and use the genetic test results
• The power of cascade testing to support early diagnosis and treatment of family members.
