A vine found twisted around a telephone pole in Chilliwack could provide the key to a new hops variety that revolutionizes the B.C. hops industry.At least, that’s the hope, says Mathias Schuetz, a biology professor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, who works in the school’s applied genomics centre.
