Genome BC connects communities with genomic researchers through interesting public talks in different locations across British Columbia. There is no cost for these events, but you must register to attend.
- “Putting Genomics to Work: Tools for Adapting to Climate Change” will take place at The Exploration Place in Prince George on Thursday February, 23rd from 6:30PM to 8:00PM. Speakers include: Dr. Sally Aitken (UBC) and Dr. Dezene Huber (UNBC.)
- “Putting Genomics to Work: Tools for Environmental and Agricultural Challenges” will take place at the College of the Rockies in Cranbrook on Thursday, March 9th from 6:00PM-7:30Pm. Speakers include Dr. Catalina Lopez-Correa and Dr. David Charest from Genome BC.
