Genome BC’s hosted three public talks in November 2016 as part of our Bringing Genomics Home series:
- “Putting Genomics to Work: From Health to Environment to Natural Resources” took place in Squamish BC at Quest University on November 15th. Speakers included: Rachael Ritchie, Aniko Takacs-Cox and Ivana Cecic from Genome BC
- “Connecting the Dots: Hereditary Cancer, Personalized Oncogenomics and the Patient Experience” took place in West Vancouver at the Kay Meek Centre in West Vancouver on November 22nd. Speakers included: Janessa Laskin, Aly Karsan, Greg D’Avignon and Chiquita Hessels.
- “Putting Genomics to Work:Protecting the Earth from Climate Change” took place in Downtown Vancouver at the SFU Segal Centre on November 23rd. Speakers included: Sally Aitken, Vikram Yadav, Navin Ramankutty and Michael Kobor.
