Alison joined Genome BC in November 2010 and is responsible for facilitating the launch and application process for new funding competitions. This includes communicating new program requirements and updates to the application processes, co-ordinating international review panels and managing the online application system. She has professional certification in planning and inventory management (CPIM) and holds a BSc in Biology from the University of British Columbia.

Prior to joining Genome BC, Alison was the Production Planner at Response Biomedical, a biotechnology company that develops and manufactures rapid on-site diagnostic tests.
