Demonstrations of Integration
Researcher Accounts: Demonstrations of Integrated Projects at Different Stages of Development
Integrated research projects are joint investigations by scientists and social scientists/humanists (SSH). Each project will differ significantly, especially according to the specific case, researchers, stakeholders, users and outcomes. The integrated research funding model is still relatively new and the practice is constantly evolving. Several project researchers have given us a snapshot of their experience with integrated work.
The examples linked from the sections below are researcher accounts of integrated projects at different stages of development. The accounts have been developed by the Principal Investigators and SSH researchers associated with the projects. Each of the contributors identifies how different forms of interaction and collaboration have shaped their project. Projected outcomes also vary and goals may include co-authored publication(s), the co-development of models and/or associated practices.
