Applied Genomics Consortium Program
Genome British Columbia’s Applied Genomics Consortium Program (AGCP) will bring together national and international consortia, funding partners and industry and will provide an opportunity to fund projects that will have a significant impact on strategic sectors of British Columbia’s economy.
 
Projects receiving funding through this program to date include:

• WineGen
• Mountain Pine Beetle

To be eligible for consideration under the AGCP funding, the project must:

• Be of strategic importance to the Province, Canada and/or the international community;
• Involve a national or international collaboration and have international prominence;
• Be led or co-led by a BC researcher whose major research activities take place in the Province of BC;
• Contain an integrated social sciences and/or humanities research component; and,
• Have a total budget greater than $5M over three years.
