We are a non-profit educational program dedicated to providing secondary students with unique opportunities to investigate the exciting world of genetics.

Geneskool emphasizes hands-on learning and introduces participants to current molecular techniques in state-of-the-art facilities at university laboratories.

We encourage participants to explore the diverse applications of genetic technologies beyond the lab and to consider the science from social and ethical perspectives. Thus, Geneskool promotes both the personal and scientific development of each young scientist.

Our summer workshops are a great way to gain valuable experience while having fun!  You will investigate a crime and learn some lab techniques along the way.  Each week of Geneskool is set in a real university lab so you can get a taste of different career options.
